First of all, a trailer is just that: a trailer. It is not a final product and most days not even representative of a final product. Another trailer that has yet to live up to the hype is the fabled next gen Madden trailer. It is just a trailer. No game attached, just a trailer.
Second thing that comes to mind is the fact that this is not Bioshock in the traditional since. In an interview with Joystiq, Ken Levine, creative director for both Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, brought up a fantastic point: Why can't Bioshock be like Final Fantasy? The games have the same design tenants from Bioshock to Bioshock Infinite, so why can't they both be Bioshock games?
What I want to know though is if we will be running into a younger, more niave version of Andrew Ryan in the city of Columbia. After all, inspiration doesn't happen without reason.
